Intercultural Coaching

Picture
Whether you are preparing for an assignment in a new country, or you are already immersed in leading or collaborating across a diversity of cultures, intercultural coaching provides self-reflection and support to discover where you need to focus your attention to act and communicate sucessfully in the global business arena.

Coaching with The International Profiler (TIP)

When working across cultures, an awareness of how cultural values shape our world view, as well as gaining knowledge of specific cultures, are solid foundations for understanding the cultural context in which you are operating.

However, a deep exploration  of your own ability to operate in unfamiliar cultural contexts reveals strengths as well as blind-spots which need attention to help you maximize your effectiveness as an international leader or collaborator.

What do I need personally to be more effective in an international context?

The International Profiler is an innovative personal development tool, providing a gateway for exploration of your unique intercultural  challenges and strategies to address them.

A 20-minute web-based psychometric questionnaire measures emphasis and energy an individual gives to 10 competencies represented by 22 dimensions of knowledge, skills and attitudes in these areas.

The resulting interpretive report provides the basis for our debriefing session. As we link your role and key responsibilities to the results of your profile, a personal development plan will emerge, which we will further explore and refine in one or two follow-up coaching sessions.
I will also provide specific developmental resources as part of the TIP feedback process.

TIP has been developed by World Work.  I am licensed TIP coach.
